It’s been a while since I joined Deviant Art, and such lots of fun from day one. There are so much great ideas and hard works to see that give inspirations, motivations and all other positive urges. First thing first, many thanks to all Deviant Art crews for nurturing this site so we all can meet here comfortably. And thanks to all Deviant Art members for sharing all of their works here. It’s an honored to be part of this community.



Project: Retouch

This is my first project and hopefully there will be more in the future. Basically this project is simple, from Deviant Art to Deviant Art, from stock photo to digital darkroom.
All the works here get the inspirations from various photographs on print ads or magazines that always capture my eyes and mind. Since I’m not a good photographer and using photoshop regularly as a designer, so hopefully my best contribution here is to technically apply those stunning effect on these stock photos.

There are some working area that my eyes on constant watch,
- Posture & Shape
- Tone & Colors
- Shadows & Highlights
- Skin, Eyes & Hair
- Special Effect / Finishing

The hardest part it’s always to call it finish since there is no client but myself ( …and such a hard client to please ). So, rather than working on perfection and ending at submit nothing, I prefer time limit. All works on this project done at 4 hours.
